With over four decades of academic excellence, we aim to enhance the students’ creativity into a full-time profession. During this four year programme, students learn how to combine artistic vision with commercial need.
In the first year, students are taught the basics of drawing, interpreting visual communication, calligraphy and more. During the second year, they are introduced to advertising art and ideas, theory of copywriting, various design software and others. The third year will focus on offering an advanced understanding in illustration, publishing media design, creative writing for print media and photography. The fourth year emphasizes on application of the theories learnt in the first 3 years. In this year, students also learn to develop campaigns for advertisements, work on research-based projects and submit a thesis based on their specialisation. At MIT-WPU, students become experts in Typography, Computer Graphics, Illustration, Drawing, Exhibition Design, Stage Craft and Photography.
